Butler for Beggars

By my nature, a beggar with nothing to offer God; By my office, a pastor who butlers fellow beggars to the cross

About Me

My photo
Pastor Boehringer
The Lutheran church is in need of reform. . . . . . We need pastors who visit their members regularly; We need members who want to visit with their pastors. . . . . . . We need schools that will set high expectations for their students; we need parents who will set high expectations for their kids. . . . . . Our Lutheran schools need to abandon progressive social science education and return to the basics: a classical model for education beginning in grammar school. . . . . . We need to make the Lord's Supper more publicly available; we need to make Absolution more privately available. . . . . . We need pastors to properly catechism and to talk plainly with their kids and parents about who they are and what the world is; we need parents to dramatically reduce the screen time that they consume and that of their children. . . . . . . . Families should set aside a special place for Christ in their homes and meditate there on the external and powerful and comforting promises of Christ in Word and Sacrament.
